New hair+ auraI remember posting the old hair, well, it did look good... but it was way too short for a Saiyan's hair... So I decided to replace them... I've already replaced the short spikey hair for something similar to Gohan's hair in the Cell Games Saga... Also made the Super Saiyan 1 model of it, which also gives me a good oppurtonity to show off the new auras I made...
I even gave the ssj-hair two different tints, a lighter one for when without aura... and one for when the aura is on - just like in the series...
I also decided to use the HUD for the outside-battle skills, which leaves the verb panel to just social and interactive verbs... so you don't have to search through a big list of verbs to fly, for example.
I also updated the sprites a bit...

I adressed this in the other topic, but the auras are nice but can use a little more work. They look too uneven and the top shouldn't be so flat. The hair is ok, much better than what I could do, but i'm not sure if I like it or not, i'd almost have to play with it to tell.

I'd've liked to make the aura-top spikey too, but it's just that it doesn't fit on the 32x32 size... there's simply no room voor a spikey top...
What about the ssj-hair? Could that be improved?

Well everything can be improved. Its impossible to make graphics that Never need improving. The fact that the ssj hair looks exactly like the normal hair, only yellow, could do some improving, I few spikes would look nice for it.

The aura looks great, the hair is really messy..and like someone else said it doesn't seperate itself from the normal hair. Just have it stand up more....and make it spikier.

About the super saiyan hair,
Gohan's hair didn't get more spikey(cell-sagas), it just turned... golden... I'm trying to reach the same effect here -- for the super saiyan 1 the hair just goldens, en for 2 it gets spikey... Otherwise it'd be hard to actually draw supersaiyan 2 hair that looks different, like with vegeta and Goku, especially Vegeta... it's hard to tell the difference.
By the way, Atris, do we know you? You seem familiar...
