After somewhat a year of being a host, Glooscap has decided to leave. He has made a huge mistake by insulting me of my lack of motivation to program this game, whilst he is the one who is the cause of that lack. I won't go into too much detail about it, if you're interested in the conflict then feel free to read it here, because there is something more important to announce: V3 development, things must go on - no matter who and what leaves.
I have decided, that V3 will be programmed from scratch. Because there is no way to implement the storyline in the current version: The way the code is organised is bad, and will only cause the programmers to rip their hair off: It caused a lot of stress to me already.
So, new icons, new code, but the same content, except for an additional storyline. I have already started, and I will post screenshots every so and often in this thread. So it's a sticky. I only have a few icons done now, no code yet. Here's a screenshot:

Heh, I knew the houses missed something -- I just didn't knew what, after looking at V2, I figured they missed roofs. =P

And guess what? I finished the human base icon, I think it turned out pretty well:
And of course, for each race there will be several types of hair available, unlike V2. Each race has their own types of hair, Namekians don't have hair, so instead of several types of hair, they will get several types of clothing. |

Man my graphical skills have increased in the last year, I actually made a proper water turf in less than a minute(the edges took longer)! While last year, it took make me a hour to get V2's water turf(s?) looking good.
And remember, feedback is still always welcome! |

Finished the namek and human sprites. I have walking, powerup and attack states. Much more will follow, though... Next thing to do: create the saiyan sprite. And make more icon states, (flying, kicking, etc).

Ah, yes, today is exactly one month since I started re-doing the code for V3, and compared to V2, this is going much faster. I already have dozens of icons done, many different types. And then to think that I only give it around 4 hours a week of work, while V2 got something around 6. So that does not only imply that it's going faster, but also that I can get more work done in less time, and with better quality.
Cave/cliff icon-set. (cave-insides are not done yet, but expect them soon.)

I realised it's been over ten days since I lastly posted screenshots, and to keep you, the players(yes, all three of you!), updated, I have taken a break from etdbzf, and started working on older discontinued projects, just for the time being. When september starts, I will hopefully be done with expanding TheWar into a very complex war game with around 70%, and will be finishing that remaining ~30% little by little in September.
Also, TheVolcano(another project which is going to be larger than etdbzf), is also another project, which is going to be very big, and will require alot of time. Knowing I have two large projects, I had to decide which project has the higher priority. Considering etdbzf has been facing critical times, and has had worse problems, it became etdbzf. And after V3 is fully released, TheVolcano will be my main project.
But back to etdbzf! I may have taken a break, but I'd still like to show off a few more screenshots(not that there's much new, though):

New-feature: Text that will be displayed to only you(such as when talking to an NPC or when you got a new skill) will be displayed on-screen. The text-box will rather be used for comminucation with other players, and such things. Screenshot:
